The Varsity Baseball team was defeated for the first time, losing their conference opener to Reagan by a score of 11-3. The War Eagles were uncharacteristic in walking a slew of Reagan hitters and give Reagan credit they made them pay by hitting the ball with runners in scoring position. Davie committed no errors in the field, and were lead at the plate by Carson Herndon who went 1 for 3 with a double and RBI, Jacob Barber was 1-2 with a double, and Alex Newman had a RBI. Davie will try to regroup on Friday when they host RJR at home in a JV, Varsity double-header. The first game will start at 5:00.
